Version 2

Social Distancing Shopping Simulator has been updated to Version 2!

This has been in the works for a little while, however I had some kinks. I had initially developed this for the Locally Sourced Spring Bundle with the intention of having a free w/ ads mobile version available on Amazon/Google Play. Having been displaced by COVID-19 and on indefinite furlough (I was told recently I would not be back to work until after the new year), I wanted to make sure to have a small marketable project that would generate at least a little revenue from a few sources to offset having no income. I finished up the mobile version about a month ago with a smaller store and some performance fixes.

Unfortunately, my Admob account is inaccessible and I've been unable to recover it. I figured I would then test the waters by listing the game for mobile on various outlets for a dollar- but, it was rejected because of the "sensitive subject matter". I disputed it, citing that it's something we all have to deal with every day and it shows the importance of staying 6' away from other people + wearing masks, but they denied me again and would not allow me to relist.

I was feeling pretty defeated by this! But- I decided to take what I had added/improved with the mobile version and make a new build for PC. It also gave me an opportunity to add the voice lines my friend Versiris had recorded for the project, and so now the game is exactly what I had in mind when I was conceptualizing it for the Spring Bundle~

I hope everybody enjoys it. It's a simple game and a blatant expression of my own frustrations with how people generally don't seem to care much and get in your personal space in stores. I want things to get better so the world can start to recover.
